I have adored this sheep since it appeared on Wallace & Grommit. The Shaun the Sheep dvd's aren't just for kids. They're just plain funny. So when a dear neighbor from Milwaukee requested this sheep I couldn't resist trying.

Requests bring me courage to do what I wouldn't normally do. This time around I was blessed by a special someone who requested that I crochet both tigers, Daniel and Tigey. From their request I received the courage to finally make a Daniel tiger. (While I'm still on this craft journey you are still welcome to follow along to watch me rise or fall, sink or swim).
Australian Shepherd Challenge Finished

So, I thought I had this great idea to crochet the Australian Shepherd Dog. As it turns out that was summertime last year (2013)! After two blog posts and 9 months it's a wrap. The struggle on this journey began last year and has finally ended with results that I'm ok with. The salt/pepper yarn I purchased is a product of Ice yarns. This is what I was most pleased with. It's different like the Australian Shepherd dog. It's keychain size as I had no more motivation for full size.

I'm no good at counting rows. So I found this row counter online for free. As long as this link still works I can use it to keep track of my row count. I just press F5 or refresh to start a new count each time. It's so easy to use.
